More food! This is going to be another quick and short post about some delicious places I dined at.
Mediterranean Cafe – Pasadena, CA
Who doesn’t love Mediterranean food?
When I went to school in Norhridge, Pasadena was halfway between my house and school so I often stopped here. This is one of my favorite cities to go to when I am back in California, especially Old Town.
Anyway, a friend of mine who lived here introduced me to this cafe and I love her for it! I like getting their beef kebab plate. SO GOOD! You will not be disappointed here. Everything is tasty and fresh!
Tom’s Farms, Cheese and Wine Shoppe – Corona, CA
This was such a cute and fun place to walk around at. There were a few outdoor pop up shops that were selling jewelry and other types of art.
Anyway more about the food! We had a vegetarian pizza full of onions, peppers, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, etc. It almost felt like I was having salad. It didn’t feel fattening or greasy at all and it tasted great!
Pomona Mining Company – Pomona, CA
More than the food, the location of this place is spectacular. It is set atop a hill and at night time the view of the city lights is incredible!
Most of us ordered prime rib steaks which were nice and juicy. However, I think I should have ordered mine with a sauce or herb butter to give it a little more flavor. Also, there is a salad bar that comes with your entree so it would be recommended to go here with an empty stomach!
I think the only negative here was that the lighting was REALLY dim (I never understood why restaurants do that) so I couldn’t capture good images of the food.
Restoration Roasters – Corona, CA
I went here to go sit and work on my blog. I immediately fell in love with the design of this place.
It’s located in a church. How cool and different is that? Anyway I’m not much of a coffee person but I do like going to neat looking cafes to do work.
Instead of coffee, I got a muffin which was flavorful and moist.
Best of all, they donate 100% of their net proceeds to the Corona Norco Rescue Mission. Buying coffee and helping people, what can be better than that?
