Wednesday Wisdom- To overcome evil…

To overcome evil with good is good, to resist evil by evil is evil. -Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Being a Muslim, I feel that because of how the media is portraying Islam, I have to defend it any chance I get. Therefore, I think my Wednesday Wisdom posts are a great time to show what true Islam is really about. And for me and probably most of you, it feels good to know that there are people we can count on and who will always be there for us no matter what. Regardless of all those amazing people in my life, and how much I appreciate them, I sometimes still find myself uneasy until I bow down in prayer. There is in fact something about presenting myself before God that is truly comforting. It is not only in actual prayer that we can find relief, but in remembering Him continuously throughout the day and being grateful…
