A Garden Tea Party Bridal Shower

*This post contains affiliate links. This means I may earn a small commission should you chose to purchase using my links.* Today I am going to be sharing photos from a party that I did a few weeks ago. I think it’s one of my best works yet! It was for a very close friend of mine (who I’ve known for more than 20 years) so of course I was going to go all out! You are probably thinking, another tea party? But you posted a tea party setup earlier this year! I know, I know, but just hold on because this one is unlike the one I did before! And once you see the photos, you’ll understand.  Okay, now that you’ve seen all the photos, I’ll give you some tips and tricks on how to set this up. Tips: 1. Wood Pallet Table –  The table in the middle is…

Egg Salad Sandwiches

This is a continuation of recipes from the tea party I did a couple of months ago. I learned how to make egg salad sandwiches very early on in my life. I picked this recipe up from my aunt who taught us how to make them at summer camp. I always remembered eating hers and loving the taste. And when she showed us exactly how to make them, I couldn’t believe how easy they were! Ingredients: -5 hard boiled eggs -1/4 cup mayonnaise -1 medium sized cucumber, chopped (I prefer the Persian ones) -1/2 tsp paprika -salt & pepper to taste -bread of choice -extra cucumber slices for garnish (optional) Instructions: 1. Combine eggs, mayonnaise, cucumber, paprika, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. 2.Serve between slices of bread that you can either cut in half or like I did in cute little four squares. (To make them even cuter, you…

Brownie Truffles

I made these truffles for the tea party I did a few weeks ago. They are super easy and only require a few ingredients        Ingredients -Brownie Fudge Mix (it’s important they are FUDGE brownies) -2 cups Chocolate Chips -1 cup White Chocolate Chips (optional) Instructions 1. Bake brownies according to the instructions on the box. 2. After they are cool, take a fork and crumble them. 3. At this point you will be able to pick a tablespoon worth and roll it into balls and place them on a tray lined with parchment paper. (Make as many as you can. Mine yielded about 18) 4. Freeze them for an hour, until firm. 5. Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler and dip the brownie balls into it. Use a spoon to make sure it’s fully covered. Using a fork, take them out and set aside on parchment paper. 6.…

DIY Tea Party

I am so excited to share today’s post! I’ve been wanting to do a tea party for ages and I finally got a chance to do it a week ago. The weather was great, the sun came out and I felt like I could conquer the world! Does anyone else feel like that when the weather is good? I guess you can say I did the tea party to celebrate the sun! haha (Warning: there will be a lot of exclamation points in this post!!) For it, I made a banner, a few finger foods, set up a table, bought some flowers and put it all together. Flowers literally make everything better in my opinion! If you are ever having trouble setting up for anything, just buy flowers! I like getting them from Trader Joe’s, they are surprisingly affordable and have so much beautiful variety. To set the table, I mostly…
