One of the weddings this summer was of an architect friend of mine, M. She wanted to do a DIY wedding with a lot of industrial elements.<\/p>\n

She had a vision and several of us helped carry it out with her.\"diy<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/strong>Backdrop<\/h3>\n

The Detail<\/h4>\n

We used purple carnations, baby’s breaths and a few eucalyptus branches along with some other greens.<\/p>\n

We used wreath metal rings that you can find at the Dollar Tree<\/a><\/span>. We separated each wreath wire and got 4 circles out of each one! #frugal Then used floral wire to wrap the greens and flowers around the rings.<\/p>\n

The Center Pieces<\/h4>\n

Additionally, we used aluminum cans as vases to put in the center of the “cage.”<\/p>\n

Can you tell I’m just trying to show off my ring in these?<\/p>\n

These are concrete coasters which were also handmade. M used a yogurt carton to pour the concrete mixture in. When they were completely dry, they popped out. Then, they were painted with a brush using white acrylic paint. She also designed a monogram and made it into a stamp which is what we used to stamp them at the end. So creative right?<\/p>\n

The Boutineer<\/h4>\n

Even the boutineer had an extra detail which M’s sister mastered and hand crafted using copper wire and pliers!<\/p>\n
