Places Visited
Real Alcazar de Sevilla
When researching the Alcazar, I saw mixed reviews on buying tickets in advance. Some people said there weren’t lines during off seasons so I decided not to buy them. BIG MISTAKE! We waited in line for two hours!! So I would recommend whether you are going off season or peak season, just buy the tickets to be safe.
After finally getting through, we were free to explore as long as we wanted.
Also, fun fact for Game of Throme fans, you will know that this was the set of Dorne!
Plaza de Espana
I didn’t know about Plaza de Espagna until I started looking at Spain photos on Instagram. This semi-circular brick building is Renaissance/neo-Moorish in style.
The blue painted ceramic pillars and bridges in the square were beautiful!
Setas de Seville
Seeing the historic architecture all week and then seeing Setas de Seville felt like I walked into a completely different world. This modern architecture stands above a plaza and is the largest wooden structure in the world.
In order to get to the top, you go from the basement and take an elevator ride up to the top which costs 3 euros.
When you reach the top, you will see beautiful city views. It is a great spot to watch the sunset too.
There were a few other spots we wanted to check out but didn’t have time to.
Where we Ate
Milonguitas
We stopped at Milonguitas for lunch after visiting the Alcazar. We ordered a chicken salad and a chicken sandwich. Both were fresh and delicious. It is known for their burgers and meats. Which for some reason we did not get…
Cafe at Setas de Seville
My mom an I enjoyed some smoothies here. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the views.
