Today is the day that I post a recipe that all my friends go crazy over and my mom gets cravings for! It’s super easy and once again very versatile. I make it a lot, especially when we do parties. Ingredients: -1lb ground beef -1tbs oil -1 onion, chopped -2 garlic cloves minced -1 1oz. taco seasoning package -queso cheese dip (I get this one) -1 1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese -tortilla chips (these are my all time FAVORITE tortilla chips!!) -1 avocado chopped -2 tomatoes -handful sprigs of cilantro, chopped -1-2 tbs lime juice -salt & pepper to taste Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees then lightly brown half the onion and 2 cloves garlic in oil, until translucent. 2. Add the beef and brown it. Once brown, drain the fat. 3. This is a continuation of recipes from the tea party I did a couple of months ago. I learned how to make egg salad sandwiches very early on in my life. I picked this recipe up from my aunt who taught us how to make them at summer camp. I always remembered eating hers and loving the taste. And when she showed us exactly how to make them, I couldn’t believe how easy they were! Ingredients: -5 hard boiled eggs -1/4 cup mayonnaise -1 medium sized cucumber, chopped (I prefer the Persian ones) -1/2 tsp paprika -salt & pepper to taste -bread of choice -extra cucumber slices for garnish (optional) Instructions: 1. Combine eggs, mayonnaise, cucumber, paprika, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. 2.Serve between slices of bread that you can either cut in half or like I did in cute little four squares. I am so excited to share today’s post! I’ve been wanting to do a tea party for ages and I finally got a chance to do it a week ago. The weather was great, the sun came out and I felt like I could conquer the world! Does anyone else feel like that when the weather is good? I guess you can say I did the tea party to celebrate the sun! haha (Warning: there will be a lot of exclamation points in this post!!) For it, I made a banner, a few finger foods, set up a table, bought some flowers and put it all together. Flowers literally make everything better in my opinion! If you are ever having trouble setting up for anything, just buy flowers! I like getting them from Trader Joe’s, they are surprisingly affordable and have so much beautiful variety.
