One of the weddings this summer was of an architect friend of mine, M. She wanted to do a DIY wedding with a lot of industrial elements. She had a vision and several of us helped carry it out with her. The Backdrop The Detail We used purple carnations, baby’s breaths and a few eucalyptus branches along with some other greens. We used wreath metal rings that you can find at the Dollar Tree. We separated each wreath wire and got 4 circles out of each one! #frugal Then used floral wire to wrap the greens and flowers around the rings. This post could be irrelevant but the snow this week proves that it’s still winter! #climatechange is real ya’ll! Okay, so at the end of last year, on New Year’s Eve a friend of mine got engaged! Wooohoo! So naturally, I offered to help set up a bit of decor. Our engagements are pretty much watching the guy awkwardly put the ring on the girl, everyone taking a million photos and then having a huge delicious feast afterwards. I provided the background of the “ring ceremony” photos. It was pretty simple and was done in under two hours!
