Wednesday Wisdom -God does not burden…

First of all I’d like to wish all my Muslim readers a very happy Ramdhan (month of fasting in which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset every day)! May this month be full of blessings for all! In the spirit of this blessed month, I’ve decided that my Wednesday Wisdom posts this month will be selections from the Holy Quran. In doing so, I will share one of my favorite ones first! God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. -Holy Quran 2:287 A lot of times we are faced with trials and tribulations and think how can we possibly get through them. Now, if you reflect back to those times, you realize that you did in fact get through them and came out stronger and better because of them. It is not only in actual prayer that we can find relief, but in remembering Him continuously throughout the day and being grateful…

And trying to change direction may feel like the most difficult thing ever but sometimes it may be for the best. And you may learn something else along the way. For example, many people that I know (and myself included) went to school for one thing but ended up getting jobs in other fields. I got a Bachelor’s degree in interior design; however, right out of school, I didn’t get a job in the industry like I had planned. It completely sucked! And applying to jobs was terrible too especially when you didn’t hear back. It took a lot of trial and error but I figured out that I wanted to go back to school and take some Graphic Design courses (I had remembered enjoying using Photoshop…
