I don’t know if you are tired of seeing numerous beach pictures but this will be my last beach post for a while…or will it?
This is actually one of my favorite one’s that I’ve been to in Southern California (well, besides La Jolla, San Diego but I didn’t get to go there this time around). I went here as soon as I got off the plane.
I landed at 8am and was out of the airport by 9am. I left behind freezing temperatures along with snow fall in Chicago and landed to an 80 degree sunny California. So it was only obvious that the first thing I do was hit the beach!
One of the reasons why I love Laguna Beach is because it has sandy, rocky, and grassy areas. All these options on one beach are pretty awesome if you ask me because you don’t always want to jump in the water or lay on the sand when you are there.
Sometimes you just want to go to a place with good views without sand getting between your toes. I’ve gone here and done barbecues and picnics on the grass all the while enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Ocean.
This specific area is called Heisler Park.
And if you are anything like me, once you are at the beach, you have to stay until the sunset. They are breathtaking and my favorite part of the day! (I make my friends chase them with me. #sunsetchaser)
Β βWhen I admire the wonder of a sunset, or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in worship of the Creator.β
-Mahatma Gandhi
There is something poetic about listening to the waves and seeing the reflection of the changing sky in the water. I wish it lasted longer.

Love the grid setup, it’s perfect for a photo-heavy travel/ food blog! I am also a fellow blogger lol. Will leave my url in the signature section.
