This post could be irrelevant but the snow this week proves that it’s still winter! #climatechange is real ya’ll! Okay, so at the end of last year, on New Year’s Eve a friend of mine got engaged! Wooohoo! So naturally, I offered to help set up a bit of decor. Our engagements are pretty much watching the guy awkwardly put the ring on the girl, everyone taking a million photos and then having a huge delicious feast afterwards. I provided the background of the “ring ceremony” photos. It was pretty simple and was done in under two hours!  Probs could have spent more time on the flower arrangement in the vase, but you get the idea. I did this photo booth last year but never got a chance to share with you. It’s still relevant this year, you just have to change the number 7 to 8 if you want to try this out. It’s super easy, festive and fun especially for the kids. Having four nieces, I am always finding fun things to do with them. Last year, some of their friends also came and we had lots of fun taking photos. What you’ll need: -kraft paper roll -colorful construction paper -yarn or string of any kind -markers -balloons -streamers -lights -tape -scissors -dollar store New Year’s props (optional) What you do: 1. measure how much kraft paper you will need to cover a good portion of a wall, cut it and then tape it on the wall. So I finally got a chance to sit down and write this post about my Thanksgiving. I know I am late but I had a busy and amazing weekend full of lots of food, fun and laughter with the family. My sister and I were hosting the big dinner at her house for ~15 people and I was tasked to make the turkey. I had done it twice before but still was nervous. I had only ever done it by brining it and that’s exactly how I did it the third time as well. Although my sole responsibility was to not screw up the turkey, I couldn’t help myself and make a couple of other things too. I tried a new dip (I LOVE chips and dip).
